SAN ANTONIO (EGMN) - The clinical relevance of micrometastases and isolated tumor cells in the sentinel lymph nodes of breast cancer patients remains uncertain in light of the lack of an adverse impact for these findings upon overall or disease-free survival in a large prospective study.The Los Angeles-area study was nondefinitive because physicians were aware of the sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy results.
