Roche is to appeal a negative recommendation on the use of Herceptin (trastuzumab) in metastatic gastric cancer, issued by the UK's National Institute for health and Clinical Excellence on July 6. The appraisal is the latest in a series of draft and final appraisals that the institute has released in recent days.
