News ArticleORLANDO (EGMN)- Periodic breaks from androgen suppression therapy did not impact survival in men with prostate-specific antigen progression after radical therapy for prostate cancer.In a phase III study involving 1,386 men, median overall survival was 9.1 years with continuous androgen deprivation and 8.8 years with intermittent androgen suppression (P value .009, hazard ratio 1.02), lead author Dr. Laurence Klotz said at the Genitourinary Cancers Symposium.
