PARIS (EGMN) - Confirming a diagnosis of breast cancer in women with suspect lesions is possible to do in just 1 day, and improves patient access to treatment and clinical trials, research has shown.A review of all clinical, pathological, biologic, and imaging data collected over the past 6 years at a specialist breast cancer diagnosis unit shows that three-quarters of women had a confirmed positive or negative result by the end of the day.
