PHILADELPHIA (EGMN) - Children followed for an average of 14 years after diagnosis of juvenile idiopathic arthritis showed no increased risk of invasive cancers, according to a study of more than 1,000 patients. Studies have shown an increased risk of malignancy - particularly lymphoma and lung cancer — in adult rheumatoid arthritis patients.
