New data from a study presented at the joint ECCO 15–34th ESMO Multidisciplinary Congress held in Berlin have confirmed the benefits of oral capecitabine plus intravenous oxaliplatin (XELOX regimen) as adjuvant therapy for patients with stage III colon cancer. The phase III NO16968 (Xeloxa) trial is one of the largest studies of patients with stage III colon cancer to date.
