HER2/neu Vaccine Tested in Metastatic Breast Cancer

SINGAPORE (EGMN) - A virosome-based multipeptide vaccine targeting HER2/neu was found to be safe and well tolerated in a phase I breast cancer study that was presented at the World Vaccine Congress Asia. Dr. Ursula Wiedermann and her group from the Medical University of Vienna tested the vaccine in 10 patients with metastatic breast cancer.
