SAN FRANCISCO (EGMN) - Endobronchial dysplasia was significantly improved in former smokers who received oral iloprost, a synthetic form of prostacyclin, during a phase II, placebo-controlled chemoprevention trial presented August 2 at the World Conference on Lung Cancer.Results of the 152-patient trial were "heartening," study investigator Dr. Robert Keith said during an interview.
