SAN ANTONIO (EGMN) - The anthracyclines, in recent decades the mainstay of adjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer, should now assume a greatly reduced role in treatment, Dr. Dennis Slamon asserted at the annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.
