The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists announced Nov. 20 that it is now recommending delaying the start of cervical cancer screening until age 21 and then screening most patients every other year instead of annually.In its revised guidelines, ACOG recommends cervical cancer screening every 2 years for women between ages 21 and 29 years.
