ABSTRACT
Hodgkin disease was first described more than 175 years ago. Clinically and histomorphologically, the features of Hodgkin lymphoma are unusual for a lymphoma or for other malignancies. The incidence of Hodgkin lymphoma is estimated to be 7400 new cases per year in the United States, resulting in an age-adjusted yearly rate of 2.7 per 100,000 per year.
