Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) is a common significant adverse event of chemotherapy. The addition of the NK-1 receptor antagonist aprepitant to a 3-day regimen with a 5-hydroxytryptamine-3 (5-HT3) receptor antagonist and dexamethasone has been shown to improve prevention of CINV during the 120 hours after initiation of chemotherapy (overall phase; OP). Fosaprepitant dimeglumine is an analog of aprepitant, and is rapidly converted to aprepitant after intravenous (IV) administration....
