Peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) accounts for 10% to 15% of newly diagnosed cases of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in North America. Chemotherapy regimens for PTCL are derived from those for B-cell lymphomas, but PTCL is more likely to be resistant to chemotherapy, and outcomes are generally inferior to those seen in patients with B-cell lymphomas.
