Evaluation of the Paclitaxel–Ifosfamide–Cisplatin (TIP) Combination in Relapsed and/or Metastatic Cervical Cancer

Abstract

Despite efforts over the last 2 decades to improve survival in patients with metastatic cervical cancer, studies of new regimens have yielded disappointing results and treatment options remain limited. In this study of 42 patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer, combination therapy with paclitaxel–ifosfamide–cisplatin (TIP) was associated with an overall response rate of 62%.
