Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) like sunitinib and sorafenib have revolutionized the treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC), defining a new “post-cytokine” era of therapy. Patients receiving these multi-target TKIs can, rarely, achieve complete response (CR) on serial radiographs.
