We conducted a phase II trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of weekly paclitaxel in patients with resistant or relapsed non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated with docetaxel and carboplatin. Thirty-two NSCLC patients at a median age of 58.0 years (range 33–75) were enrolled. The Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status scores (0/1/2) were 18/9/5, respectively.
