SAN ANTONIO (EGMN) - Metformin, an old and familiar diabetes drug, might have a future in the prevention and adjuvant therapy of breast cancer. Accumulating evidence from epidemiologic, cell culture, and animal studies suggests that metformin has an antineoplastic effect.
