Bio
Biographical Sketch:Dr. Andre Goy received his medical training in France, completing graduate study in Paris at the Pasteur Institute, Paris VI and Paris IX University. He completed internships (equivalent to the last 3 years of medical school in the United States) at Grenoble University Medical Center, where he also underwent postdoctoral training (internships and residencies). Dr. Goy completed a fellowship in France at the Albert Michallon University Medical Center of Grenoble and an additional fellowship in the United States at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Currently, Dr. Goy is Chairman and Director, John Theurer Cancer Center and Chief of Lymphoma, John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey; in addition, he is Director of Clinical and Translational Cancer Research at the John Theurer Cancer Center. Prior to his present appointment, Dr. Goy was assistant professor at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Dr. Goy is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, among other professional associations. His major research interests involve predictive biomarkers in lymphoma, the development of small-molecule therapy in mantle cell lymphoma, and the proteomics of cancer. He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Blood, the American Journal of Hematology, and Clinical Cancer Research, among other journals in his field.
