The Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium was a 3-day scientific and educational meeting on new advances in the prevention, screening and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers. The meeting was co-sponsored by the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, and the Society of Surgical Oncology.
